Georadar investigations (GPR) and multielectrod (electrical tomography) in order to establish local geological conditions and to prevent the interception of possible archaeological remains in Minden-Lübbecke District, Germany.
Because georadar investigations have nondestructive and noninvasive nature, they are often preferred in the archaeological researches and they can make important contributions in the accurate knowledge of local conditions.
Depending on aspects of the archaeological site other methods can be successfully used such as: vertical magnetic gradient, 2D and 3D electrical tomography, maps of apparent resistivity variation.
