Geophysical investigation through Vertical Electric Soundings (VES) method to detect local hydrogeological conditions near the brine lake Ocna Mures.
Investigations have indicated the possible danger of landslides due to the immediate presence of the brine lake and the influence of the surface aquifer. Geophysical investigations were supplemented by information from heavy dynamic penetration tests.
